Christopher Knox

Christopher Knox was born in Northumberland spending his childhood along the wild Northumbrian coastline, between Tynemouth and Lindisfarne. This had a lasting effect on how he likes to portray all of his landscapes. His atmospheric, Chiaroscuro drawings and Intaglio prints all start on location with sketchbooks, photography and his memory to record as much information as possibe. The finished drawings and Intaglio prints are finished back at his studio in Lewes.

Christopher is a self taught artist who lists his main influences as JMW Turner, John Constable and Norman Ackroyd.
